The Business School of Henan University originated from the Fifth National Sun Yat sen University in 1927. Since the 1980s, the college has entered a period of rapid development. It has gone through the stages of Finance and finance department, School of economic and trade management, School of management, School of business administration, etc., and was renamed as business school in 2015.

After 90 years of construction and development, the college has become a teaching and Research Center for cultivating business talents and serving social development in Central China. Over the past 90 years since its establishment, the college has been adhering to the school motto of "cultivating morality and innovating the people, and ending in the highest good".
