On the afternoon of November 24, a series of academic activities for the 105th anniversary of Henan University: 2017 international academic seminar and national fund application exchange meeting were successfully held in the business school.
The conference is divided into two stages. The first stage is an international academic seminar, which is held in the academic lecture hall on the second floor of the business school. Professor Kyung Hoon Kim, Professor Juran Kim and Professor Tony C Garrett were invited to attend the seminar and delivered a keynote speech. Many teachers and students of business school attended the seminar. The conference was presided over by Yang jiehui, director of the Department of logistics management of the business school.
Professor Kyung Hoon Kim is a professor of marketing at national Changyuan University of Korea, Secretary General of Korea Marketing Association and guest editor of several international academic journals (SSCI). He gave a report entitled "how to publish academic papers in international journals". He shared his experience and points for attention in publishing academic papers and recommended many international academic journals. He also encouraged everyone to focus on their own specialty and boldly contribute to international academic journals.
Professor Juran Kim is an editor of the International Journal of advertising (SSCI) and a member of the editorial board of several international academic journals. She made a report entitled "the impact of technology driven marketing on customer value", which systematically introduced the background, methods and conclusions of the research results.
Tony C Garrett is a professor at Korea University, President of the New Zealand chamber of Commerce in Korea and co editor of Asia Marketing journal. He gave a report entitled "what capabilities do you need to succeed in innovation when your competitors are also your partners.". Based on the cases of apple, Samsung and many other enterprises, he introduced his empirical research on the antecedents and consequences of competition and cooperation ability.
The second stage of the conference was the exchange meeting of national fund application, which was held in the academic seminar hall on the second floor of business school. Professor Zhuang Guijun from the Department of marketing, School of management, Xi'an Jiaotong University, as a special guest, shared the experience of successfully applying for national fund. The exchange meeting was presided over by Li Yao, branch secretary of marketing department of business school.
At the meeting, Professor Zhuang Guijun mainly focused on the application and evaluation of national fund, including the writing of project book, the process of project review, and matters needing attention. The atmosphere of the exchange meeting was warm, and the teachers had a full exchange and discussion with Professor Zhuang Guijun.
The meeting deepened the academic exchanges and cooperation between the college and universities at home and abroad, and broadened the academic horizons of teachers and students. The exchange of experience in the application of National Natural Science Foundation not only enabled the college teachers to have a more comprehensive understanding of the National Natural Science Foundation project application policy, but also improved the writing skills of application forms.
